This is an outrage..and if that wasn't enough

well...i just happened across a link that had me about to fuggin lose my mind featuring our favorite rabiit character...Bugs.

Enjoy the lessons that you get from watching this cartoon.

and if that wasn't enough for ya...then how about my favorite viewing pleasure. An obvious person of another persuasion, in "costume"...

is it me? or is there something really wrong with what happened in these images? I wonder if ole boy even tried to do the "soft shoe".

You let me know...

My other P.S.A....In case you missed it on Thursday

s'up d.c., boy, you sho' kno' how to fuck-up the week, jussst right.

well, whadda speck....
negroes runnin' around on music videoes, spillin' likka, holdin' their nuts, mouf fulla metal, talkin' 'bout shit that makes NO SENSE...and sistahs doing the same with dem BIG ASSES!!!!! (okay, okay...the sistahs can stay!...lol)

all whitey is doing "flippin' da skript"...if it's "publicly" cool to do it (be in the public's eye)...it must be "aiiiight".

this is how don imus and his crew fugg'd up...they thought they were "down" and now they're "out".

as far as the bugs n 'nem....
there were many, many, racial stereotype cartoons of that post-WWII generation that featured bugs bunny, tom & jerry, heckle & jeckle...all for a laff.

keep in mind these cartoons weren't "really" shown on t.v. but in the movie theatres as the "cartoon" was the entertainment for the moment, much like the movie trailer is today. when turner broadcasting brought back the afternoon cartoon during it's cable programming in the 80's they edited the shit outta these cartoons as some of the racial jokes fell thru the cracks and unto the t.v. screens.

yeah, it's cool to get pissed, but if you understand YOUR history....

same shit, different day.

I watched the same Bugs cartoon 100s of times while growing up. It was only later in life did I recognize the "shooting dice" stereotyping. The character was a copy of "Lightening" on the Amos 'N Andy show. While it was humorous to us black kids in the 1950s and 1960s, it must have reinforced the stereotype image whites had of blacks at the time. This cartoon was produced during the 1960s during the Civil Rights Movement. It was an image dating back to a protest by Ida B. Wells and other black leaders against the Chicago World's Fair promoters in 1893.

Yo DC I had never seen that type of stuff in buggs bunny before, like one of the commentors said they must have edited it.

The shooting dice part of the cartoon was extremely offensive.

I glad those types of offensive images are not on tv any more so our kids dont have to deal with blatant attacks against thier dignity.

Although I do realize that they are still taking shots at our dignity. Thank god those days are over.

mark: we know they're not really over just hidding somewhere else.

The real question is whether or not Elmer Fudd is this dumb black guy, reworked. Maybe he's more palatable with a white face, but he's dumb and black to the bone.

i feel ya inquiring mind. this was elmer fudd in black face with a stephin' fetchit mentality.

if you're a looney tunes fan, this cartoon has been reworked a couple of times with the same ol' gags just different characters.
