Pot Luck Friday

I think that I'm a revolutionary in a way so I will do something a little bit different today. I am going to make Friday's POT LUCK FRIDAY..

What I would like to do is get some feed back from some non blogging readers or some bloggers that don't have the time to blog right now on a Monday morning topic. A wish list if you will.

There is no topic off limits! I know that relationship posts are common but be more specific. What element of the relationships? Finding one, keeping one, how to get out of one..all are up for discussion and friendly debate. FRIENDLY DEBATE!!!

Or perhaps children, we did names...what else can we do? Miz epresent had a blog recently on obesity, school lunches and lack of phys ed in school. What else can be brought to the forefront?

I am an information junkie! Garbage in--garbage out! But, I still like to process information. So, I'd like to try to start a day where the readers are in control of a single question, we take it as a group and discuss it in a civil manner. If it goes well, then it could be really fun.

Have a fantastic weekend and let's come up with some great questions to kick around the campfire!

SO without further delay.....who is up for the challenge?

I am watching the "Road to the Final Four Program" and the hotly debated subject which I will name "Athleticism or Professionalism:Financial Incentives for Student Athletes- the NCAA Hypocrisy" There are certainly many aspects to this debate. What are the implications and consequences of financial incentives? Debilitation to college departments? Demoralization of student athletes?
Fairness to athletes, exploitation? Million dollar commercial benefit to coaches and universities?

This could be a hot Monday topic following the $6 billion dollar coverage to the final four.

I am game for a "friendly" convo on male/female relations, parenthood and so on. Not some cheeky for shits and giggles either conversing.

I'm a little late, but hopefully, not too late. Why does it seem that it's okay to disagree with different behaviors, as long as the reason for disagreement isn't based on a religious conviction? example... It's okay for me to say I don't drink because of a A/A, but if I say I don't imbibe because of a religious conviction, i'm labeled as some kind of fanatic or zealot... It doesn't have to be a disagreement alcohol perse, it could be anything else with a moral/ethical implication such as abstinence, homosexuality, polygamy, etc. It's a little heavy, maybe too heavy for a monday morning but, it's out there.

ok..let's do it like this! There are far too many to pick from so let's do..ummmmm...all of them and we can comment on each other's comments!!

@CAP..I checked out that site..it was da bomb! Those artist are seriously making it happen. I just hope that "big Brother" doesn't come in and start trying to mess it up by changing how houses can be bought in the west Oakland area..

@Saadia..there is not enough web space to make such a post..you are waaay too fabulous!!

skipping down to Hamil10: the double standard placed on moral/ethical views is remarkable indeed. I think its easier to just write something off to fanatical behavior because it's so easy to cover any subject. I know from personal experiences that using faith as way to express the desire to stop doing something put me under the microscope waaaay more than if I had said"just because I wanted to". My opinion is only short on this comment! I will certainly do this in a larger format!

Great way to start the moday off with thought provoking topics.

Dr. G/f, Shai and IYMS..i'll be back to handle those as well, but ummm...anyone can feel free to jump in and give their aopion on any subject!

Consider it an open forum!!
