Pot Luck Friday...Part XXII

Dis shole duz look good!

This forum is officially a smash hit. I am excited to present once again POT LUCK FRIDAY.

What I would like to do is get some feed back from some non blogging readers or some bloggers that don't have the time to blog right now. An open forum, if you will. Anything and everything in love, life, the world(personal or global), or whatever.

There is no topic off limits! I know that relationship posts are common but be more specific. What element of the relationships? Finding one, keeping one, how to get out of one..all are up for discussion and friendly debate.

I am an information junkie! Garbage in--garbage out! But, I still like to process information. So, I'd like to try to start a day where the readers are in control of every single question, we take the comment that is posted right before you, answer their comment question, then post your own question for the next person. We can discuss it in a civil manner. If it goes well, then it could be really fun. I must exercise more moderation on the personal topics comments. I got a few emails from some participants and I must agree that some of the comments were hurtful and should be handled off line...privately. Let's have fun and keep it relatively clean...please---thank you.

Have a fantastic weekend and let's come up with some great questions to kick around the campfire!

So without further delay.....who is up for the challenge, part 22?

First!!!

Question #1: Where errybody at?

Question #2: Why is DC still watching TV (damn John Grisham movie, "A Time To Kill"...his fave) when we gotta be up in five hours?

Question #3: How come I'm right next to him and he doesn't even notice his blog plastered all over my laptop screen?

That is all.

"Before I Let Go" by Frankie Beverly and Maze is one of those songs that will make me smile no matter what mood I am in. What song(s) make you smile when you're feeling down?

@ lo: I'm in New York City.

dc_speaks said...

@Lo: talk about being put on blast...WTF?!...LOL! John Grisham is the second best author in the world to me...you are da bestest honey.
1. in bed as if you didn't know that
2. because thats my fave book turned movie, of course until Child of God or Sex.Lies.Murder.Fame comes out.
3. my eyes are fixed on my movie

how's that mrs smarty pants?

@Neshia: we cool homie...now stop messing up the rotation. answer the question before you, then leave a question. lol

@ON: probably Rain by SWV. I love that song

Q: What does your significant other do that you really like?

Unknown said...

dc....Unfortunately, I don't have one, however it would vary depending on the person I am with.

Q:Why have we had three, three noose incidents here in Pittsburgh since the Jena 6 march?

dc_speaks said...

@mis...wow that is pretty rough in the "steel city". I had no idea. I'll remember not to take any of those dinner cruises(Gateway Clipper) from there anytime soon. and...don't they realize that Pitts, PA is in the North anyway? wtf?!

Q: I-Phones, good or bad idea to drop the prices $200?

Lo said...

@ organized noise: "Ascension (Don't Ever Wonder)" by Maxwell has always done that for me.

@ DC: If I'm Mrs. Smarty Pants (emphasis on "Mrs."), guess what that makes you? Hmmm. Guess someone didn't think that flip little comment all the way through, did they? LOL.

@ DC (again): My significant other is extraordinarily good with our dogs. Very kind, loving, and attentive. He even gets up to let them out in the middle of the night whenever they need to go. They don't even bother me about it anymore, they go straight to him and wake him up, which is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! (More sleep for me...yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!)

@ mis understood: That's crazy. They can start whipping out nooses all they want. My parents were from Mississippi in the Sixties and told plenty of noose stories. Those stories resulted in me being quite militant as a kid. I've still got strong traces of that in me. Whip out a noose, I'm whipping out some cans of whoop ass...for reals!!!

@ DC (again!): Discounted iPhones? Great idea! They need to discount them bytches some more, then I might consider jumping in the game.

Question: Flying monkeys or flying squirrels?

How do you relieve stress?

dc_speaks said...

@GND: I relieve stress with quiet moments, jazz music and prayer

Q: do you believe in loaning out money?

Unknown said...

ON- "Better Days", Diane Reeves
DC- Yeah, so I can get one.
Lo- Flying Monkeys, something about them dang on squirrels, they attack, and will scratch your eyes out. Whew!
GND- Go to sleep.
(I'm catching on)

Q- Would you adopt a child?

Unknown said...

DC- Depending on the amount, I don't give on the notion that it's a loan. I consider it a gift because for some reason people tend to "forget" to pay you back:)

Why do I always have to type in the (alien)word verification code twice before my comment post? Just ur page.

neshia said...

dc .... yock or seafood

dc_speaks said...

@mis understood: i just got off the phone with a client of mine that just picked up his two adopted children yesterday. I think i would adopt if the mrs wanted to.
