Do you know, Sara Baartman?

When I came across this blog post last year, the title was fixated on women knowing who this woman was. I believe that everyone should know who she was.

I was introduced to this story late last year on Sylvia Hubbard's blog.
I encourage you to read her short life story and pass it along to someone else.

Happy MLK Week!!!!

I like learning new things on your blog.

Hottentot reminds of L. Frank Baum's racist portrayal/satire of them in his Oz-relaed books

I read this somewhere else a few months ago and was blown away. Isn't it sad how much of US is left out of HIStory books.
